Lutherans For Life Responds to the Election
I am actually writing this “response” the morning of Election Day. We just finished staff devotions based on Psalm 118:8-9. “It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.” Regardless who the president might be, LFL will continue to trust and take refuge in the Lord of Life, not our elected officials.

The Election and Lutherans For Life
A question has arisen regarding the extent to which Lutherans For Life employees or volunteers may try to influence people to vote for a certain candidate. This seems to be an area of great confusion and misinformation, but it’s actually pretty simple.
Directions Fall 2012
Directions is sent quarterly to all state federations, local chapters, Life Ministry Coordinators (LMCs), Life Teams, and Life Advocates (LAs). Each issue of Directions features articles of special interest to LFL’s grassroots. Articles are divided into five categories: Bible Study, Leadership, Faith in Action, Fundraising, Facts and Stats.
Welcome Scott Licht as National Director
Please join Lutherans For Life in welcoming Mr. Scott Licht as LFL’s first National Director. He will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects at the National Life Center and overseeing the implementation and updating of LFL’s strategic plan—a plan to expand and improve how we can all help others as we share and apply the Gospel to life issues.
