Detail:

God’s Word tells us in Proverbs 31:8 to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,” but it’s sometimes difficult to know how to do that, and work in God’s “left hand kingdom” of the public square can often be messy and uncomfortable. The evil of abortion often incenses us, and yet the Lord is never far away (Philippians 4:5), and He has filled Christians with His Spirit to bear fruit: peace, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Our lay speaker for this session, Jeremy Lamont (Grace Lutheran, Sandy, Utah), will share his experience in the Gospel-speaking practice of sidewalk advocacy, and explain how that differs from other “left hand kingdom” work.

Who is impacted by sidewalk advocacy?

How does it differ from what we may see in the media?

What challenges can we expect?
