Abortion

Thousands Mourn Innocent Victims of Abortion on Second Annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children by John Jansen

Lori Trinche, our mission and ministry coordinator, attended this event in Illinois. She wrote, “It was one of the most powerful services I have ever attended–cars lined up in great numbers all over the cemetery. The description of what was done to recover the bodies brought me to tears and the whole thing very convicting in that we Lutherans really need to do more to speak out.”

Lori also wrote, “One person can make a difference, one person can be the one to give someone else hope in the moment. John Morales shared a story of a dad that shared with one of the prayer warriors at the clinic where he’d planned to take his girlfriend to abort their child. He came back after the baby was born and told that person ‘if you care enough to be here praying, then I should care enough to step up and be a father to my child. Thank you for praying and for how God used that to change my choice to choose life for my child.'”
