Music Video: “Miracle” by Whitney Houston – Back in 1991, Whitney Houston released the song Miracle as a single. While the video doesn’t really reflect the song’s intent, the lyrics are very powerful. According to Wikipedia, “‘Miracle’ … was written and produced by L.A. Reid and Babyface. The song is about a girl who had an abortion but later feels she made a mistake. In an interview at that time, Houston acknowledged the song was indeed about abortion and praised Babyface for digging so deep with the song’s lyrical content.”
Russian/U.S. Adoptions in Jeopardy – This is terrible. Over 60,000 children have been adopted from Russia. Of course, abuse cases need to be dealt with, but to destroy a wonderful way to help children on the basis of 17 cases is a travesty.
