October 7, 2010

This past June, I was again involved with Camp Hope. It was another incredible few days! Camp Hope 2010 started June 1 and wrapped up June 10 with eight Russian orphans heading back to Russia after a great time here in central Iowa.

Six of the eight children have found adoptive homes!

A great kid named Igor is still in need of a Forever Family. Click here for a flyer with more info on Igor.

Another wonderful child, named Luda, is still in need of finding a Forever Family. Click here for a flyer with more info on Luda and her sister, Nadiya. Luda was one of five kids here for Camp Hope that my son, Alexander, already knew from his children’s home in Kondopoga. (I adopted Alexander after hosting him last year. He said Camp Hope 2010 was “awesome”!)

Check out the Camp Hope website!

If you know anyone who might be interested in finding out more about Igor, Luda, her sister, and Russian adoption, please forward the info. (One does not need to live in Iowa to adopt through Camp Hope.) They can also contact Camp Hope Director Anne Nieland at 515-559-3819 or by e-mail at camphopeiowa@yahoo.com.

(I would be glad to answer any questions too. 515-708-3680)
