Across our churches, schools, families, and communities, people are searching for truth, hope, and compassionate care in the middle of challenging life situations. Students are facing gender and sexuality challenges, anxiety, and messages that replace Christ-centered identity with self-centered values. Congregations are seeking trusted biblical resources to help address complex cultural issues such as physician-assisted suicide, bioethical challenges, and adoption support while remaining firmly grounded in God’s Word. Families need encouragement as they navigate caregiving responsibilities, aging loved ones, infidelity, and other personal challenges. Volunteers are proclaiming the Gospel-centered message that every human life is created and redeemed by God in their everyday vocations.
The need for strong, Gospel-centered life ministry has never been greater. That is why Lutherans For Life matters so much.
For nearly 50 years, Lutherans For Life has striven to give a Gospel-motivated witness to Lutherans and their neighbors, proclaiming the life-changing truth that every human life has value because they are created, redeemed, and called by our Triune God. As a ministry serving across Lutheran church bodies and a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, Lutherans For Life equips individuals, churches, schools, and communities to respond to life issues with courage, compassion, and confidence in Christ.
But this mission moves forward only because faithful supporters make it possible.
Lutherans For Life is funded entirely through donations and grants received from foundations and organizations. Therefore, every speaking engagement, every educational resource printed, every conference/retreat hosted, every volunteer trained, and every individual receiving spiritual care is made possible through the caring supporters who invest in our mission.
