Who Will Save the Children?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
The thirsting child needs but a loving cup,
The crippled youth, an arm to help him up,
The starving babe and mother, food and bread,
The homeless, but a shelter overhead.
In love we rescue dogs from ill abuse,
And wildlife round the world, from snail to moose,
The forests, and the grasslands, and the streams,
To save this world with all our hopes and dreams.
Good stewards, care for all that God has made;
His goodness in the world is well displayed!
But what He gave He gave His only Son to save
Was every child from cradle to the grave.
From womb to tomb guard every life to know
The Savior God who saves and loves them so.
