This project is shared by the Ozaukee County Life Chapter in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith’” (Romans 1:16-17).

The Ozaukee County Fair is one of the last FREE fairs in the Midwest. Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors live music, a full midway, food and exhibit vendors, fireworks, 4-H and livestock exhibitions, and more! See the website for more information: www.ozaukeecountyfair.com.

The county fair is one of most memorable events that takes place each year for families and friends to attend. What a wonderful opportunity for outreach to be Gospel-motivated voices For Life to attendees of all ages! Frontlines, consider participating in your local fair as a place to exhibit as an outreach opportunity to reach your local community.

Since the 1990s, the Ozaukee County Life Chapter has been participating as a vendor in the Commercial Marketplace building. This event is a highlight each year for the Life Chapter.

“It is a great outreach to our community and county to reach people who may be unchurched or pro-choice.”
Susie Pipkorn, President of Ozaukee County Life Chapter

Susie Pipkorn coordinates the exhibit, sets up the display on Tuesday, and takes the display down on Sunday evening. Chapter members and volunteers staff the booth throughout the exhibit hall hours: Deb Aussprung, Jane Boesch, Irma Brockberg, Joy Friede, Kevin Hickey, Ron and Kathy Kabitzke, Lorrie Reimer, Karen Stremski, Jean Vorpahl, and Kevin and Kaye Voss.

The life project is self-funded by the Ozaukee County Life Chapter. The cost of the fair vendor space is $250. Lutherans For Life materials, giveaway items, and other supplies are donated by a Chapter member. Lutherans For Life print resources are available for purchase at Concordia Publishing House: www.cph.org. Precious Feet pins (exact size and shape of a 10-week unborn baby’s feet), realistic 12-week fetal models, and other life-affirming display materials can be purchased at Heritage House ’76: www.pro.life.
