“It seems appropriate to express our disagreement with today’s Supreme Court verdict and our support for the sanctity of life. But we’re not as qualified to examine and evaluate the legal merits. We are disappointed, of course, that the Supreme Court has interpreted the law of the land as not respecting and protecting the sanctity of life or the health and safety of women. We can do better. And, thankfully, neither the Supreme Court nor the Congress nor the President himself can legislate us out of rejoicing over every human life as a gift and a privilege and showing truthful compassion to anybody experiencing surprise pregnancy.”
