Last night I spoke in Ames, IA at a “kick-off” rally for the 40 Days for Life campaign. I knew of 40 Days for Life and have followed their stories of babies saved, abortion facilities closed, and facility workers transformed—the most notable of the latter being Abby Johnson. This, however, was my first direct contact. I was impressed. The tone of those who spoke and those assembled was very much Gospel-centered. 40 Days for Life is about prayer, not protest; it is about witness, not confrontation. ivermectina na gravidez  We were instructed to pray not only for the moms and babies, but also for the dads, the facility staff, and those who perform the abortions. We are to pray for our nation and the Church. We are to pray for others across the country who, during the same time period, September 28-November 6, will be joined together by this common cause and in a spirit of prayer.

The goal is to have someone praying in front of the facility every day, day and night, for the entire 40 days. This goal cannot always be reached in every location, but it is the ideal. I have signed up for some time slots to pray in front of the Planned Parenthood in Ames near Iowa State University. ivermectin onchocerciasis control  I hope the entire LFL Team here at the Life Center will be able to go over for part of a day as well.

It is very easy for anyone to be involved. Go to www.40daysforlife.com to find out if there will be a vigil close to your area. You can sign up for time slots right on line. ivermectin would not be used when treating which parasite vtne  If you cannot find anything close, take time everyday to pray for those who are praying!
