Celebration of Life Baby Shower
God has made each of us uniquely beautiful with a purpose. In this session, children will celebrate Life and be reminded of their value and worth in Jesus with fun baby-shower activities.
Disability Awareness
Each life has value and purpose. In this session, children will explore some of the aspects of disability and develop an awareness of the challenges it can bring, but also the opportunities we have to speak Life into those situations. Using fun activities we will learn how to enjoy the chances we have to be part of the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Helping-Hand Service Opportunity
God has given us talents to share with those around us. We will be creating soft blankets to share with the pregnancy resource centers and nursing care facilities.
“I was THAT little!”
The miracle of life in the womb is amazing, especially to children. In this session, children will have the opportunity to learn about fetal development with the aid of the Touch of Life fetal models. We will learn how God forms us and cares for us before we are born.
A Person’s a Person No Matter How Small (Double Session)
The Dr. Seuss classic “Horton Hears a Who” is a wonderful starting point to talk with children about how important life is in all its ages and stages. In this double session, we will present the story and talk about how we can listen for the “Whos” in our lives. Then we will end with an ice cream snack. This double session is a quieter activity aimed at giving children an opportunity to relax in the afternoon while still being entertained.
