Word came through recently of a wonderful adoption opportunitiy! Here’s part of a note from Anne Nieland at Camp Hope and Stork Adoption Agency:
The St. Petersburg region has just notified us of two brothers who are available for adoption … Vadim and Nikita, born in 2006 and 2008. They are healthy and available for adoption now, as soon as a family completes a home study and dossier. We have requested more information as we know this is not much to go on!!
Russia still requires one short trip and one long trip (or three shorter trips) to complete the adoption. The positive side to this region is that it is relatively easy travel in and out of St. Petersburg with only one (the last) trip requiring a visit to Moscow.

You are also welcome to contact me at Lutherans For Life. I became involved with Camp Hope in 2009 and have adopted through Stork Adoption Agency. (lhighby@lutheransforlife.org or 515.382.2077)
By the way, the Lutherans For Life staff is sponsoring one more fundraiser for Camp Hope on February 21, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Pizza Ranch in Ames, Iowa. Come and join us!
